An original piece, painted from my very own photo of the moon!
The photo was originally taken with a 6 inch Takahashi refractor telescope in the mountains of Spain. Which I was using for my final year Bachelor’s project on Esclipsing Binaries. This was my first attempt at astrophotography, as my experience with telescopes has been primarily in research.
This lies a milestone in my artistic journey and also my journey as a space artist. And for the very first time, I feel proud to have painted my very own photo of the cosmos!
This painting is covered with an isolation coat and gloss varnish, to protect against dust and UV rays. This ensures your painting will last for longer.
